SEMINAR ON SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH -1
On 28 December 2021,a seminar was organized for the Higher Secondary students of Achievers Home Public School, Haridwar to encourage them to choose scientific research as their career option. This DST-funded seminar was organised by Dr. Arun S. Kharat who is a Professor of Microbiology at the very prestigious School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University. He said that the theme was to popularize science among school-going children as engineering and medical have been default choices for a long time. He further added that Covid-19 actually showed us that vaccines can be developed using science only as when everything was shut down due to pandemic, it were only scientists who were working through day and night to develop the vaccines and medicines.
